About Sunsari Youth Club
Sunsari Youth Club was established on 2072 B.S. Sunsari Youth Club was formally registered with the District Administration Office, Sunsari.
Affiliated with Social Welfare Council, our focus areas lie on working in the field of youth empowerment, strengthening of student and youth politics,
promotion of civic engagement, democratization and human rights in Nepal.
However, the political systems have failed to incorporate youths
post restoration of democracy in the democracy. It has constantly failed to ensure utilize the enthusiasm the youth have in the development process.
The rule books of any democratic definition includes the values of representation and freedom in terms of expression in accordance with the demographic share,
but when it comes to demonstration, the rates of practice differ in all the various areas of the political system including the representation
and participation of Youth.
Globalization and trade liberation have opened up vistas and opportunities in the international labor market. Moreover, there is an
increase in youth specific job opportunities internationally. Lack of opportunity within Nepal and the growing demand on youth to
economically support the family, many Nepali youth are leaving Nepal to work abroad and have been contributing to the economic prosperity
of their families and also in the poverty alleviation of their country. Nepalese youth faced many challenge and hurdles in the labor market
both nationally and internationally. Moreover, most of Nepali youth are going for work abroad are mostly labor. Additionally, their dependence
on agents and brokers to go for foreign employment and the lack of information and skills, many youth are likely to fall prey to various forms
of exploitation and abuses in cycle of foreign labor migration.
In this context, Sunsari Youth Club was established in 2072 with the objective
of ensuring the rights of youth in the entre socially and economically development process.
